What needed to change.

Hex had product-market fit and a brand that didn't match — a Squarespace template, stock vector logo, and a tagline written by an early engineer. They were losing late-stage deals because procurement teams couldn't take them seriously based on the website.

// 02 · OUR APPROACH

How we tackled it.

Built a custom hex-based wordmark (yes, on the nose, but tight execution) and a marketing site with interactive product demos embedded inline — the actual product, sandboxed, on the homepage. Demos are real Hex API calls, not video. We kept the page count tight (8 pages) and shipped on Next.js + Sanity.

What changed.

Hex closed 3 enterprise deals in the first month post-launch that they directly attributed to 'the new site finally looked legitimate.' The interactive demos became their #1 in-deal sales asset.
